Poly’s letter has pulled the rug out from underneath the most honourable man in Athens – Phocion. He’s 84 and as we’ve seen in earlier episodes, he only accepted the job of oligarch to try to use his long friendship with Antipater to try to damage control the impact on Athens. Which side to choose? PolyP or Cassy? He's in a tight pickle.
