Porus is an Indian prince with a massive army, sitting and waiting on the shore of the Hydaspes River, with 120 battle elephants. To get to him, Alexander needs to cross this wide, freezing cold, fast flowing river, with the enemy waiting for him on the other bank. How does he do this? His tactics at Hydaspes made it Napoleon's favourite of all Alexander's battles.
