#110 – The Battle of Ipsus

Old Gonad himself, now 80 years old, broke his retirement and moved north into Asia Minor. So the big battle happened at Ipsus in Phrygia in Turkey. Each side had roughly 80,000 men. Ipsus was one of the largest battles of the Hellenistic period.  There were four kings and two future kings, Pyrrhus of Epirus and Antiochus, son of Seleucus, on the field. Only one side would survive.
